BIOGRAPHY -  VICTOR A. ROSCHKOV

Victor A. Roschkov was born in London, Ontario, Canada, in 1962. Encouraged by his artistically talented parents, he showed an early interest in drawing. Vic attended the art program at Danforth Collegiate in Toronto for three years and returned to London, Ontario to complete his 4th year in the art program at H.B. Secondary School.

He worked as a graphic artist in Edmonton, Alberta, and London, Ontario. During this time, Vic also created a small business producing professional ink and watercolour renderings of residential and commercial buildings for many private clients.

In the early 1990's, quite inspired by the work of such artists as A.J. Casson and Tom Thompson, he began experimenting in fine art and soon after began creating his own watercolour art. Self taught in watercolour landscape painting, Vic strives to capture the subtle, beauty, charm and moods of primarily Southern Ontario. His paintings are completed in a unique representational style.
